- Providing comprehensive eye care services with the knowledge of ophthalmic nursing and
pharmacology to screen the patient for appropriate Ophthalmologist.
- Ability to perform triage and evaluate complex eye disease.
- Ability to differentiate various eye condition such as infectious eye disease, retinal or corneal eye
condition, Glaucoma or cataract, eye emergency condition.
- Performing ocular assessment such as visual acuity testing, observe pupils, and extra-ocular
movement to check patient’s status.
- Prepare patients for ophthalmology test.

Providing preoperative and post-operative information
- Preformed patient total body assessment.
- Performed total patient care with ratio of 1:4 - one nurse with 4 patients
- Administrating medications - orally, intravenously, and subcutaneously
- Monitoring patients throughout the admission and pre-post operation periods.
- Inserting and maintaining NG tube, Foley Cath and other types of tubing.
- Preparing patient before the operation.
- Performing different kinds of wound care.
- Caring patient with C-line, A-line, and PICC line
