- Assists with planning, establishing, implementing, and maintaining a variety of occupational health, safety and environmental programs to assure the highest possible degree for the organization.
- Plan the delivery of EHS training programs.
- Prepare and distribute educational materials and information, audit, monitor and measure compliance with legal standards at company facilities and recommend actions for the correction of hazardous situations.
- Compile and submit accident report as required using CHESS reporting system.

- Inspect workplace to ensure facilities and equipment are in good working condition and do not pose any potential hazards.
- To generate inspection / audit reports to be submitted to management on a regular basis.
- Ensure compliance of operations with Workplace Safety and Health / Environmental Control regulations in accordance with statutory requirements of local authorities while maintaining necessary EHS documentation.
- Facilitate rusk assessments, review method statements and provide feedback to improve these assessments and method statements to ensure safe at workplace. Implement and maintain Permit to Work (PTW) system as required.
- Organize evacuation exercises, emergency response drills, daily toolbox briefing as necessary. Conduct safety orientation induction for contractors and any corporate EHS related training or other safety orientation activity for all personnel at site and office.
- Attend EHS meeting from the client / main contractor’s and co-ordinate with their safety representatives.
- Conduct and investigate of all workplace accidents and incidents or dangerous occurrence, record all findings and furnish investigation report, finding. Recommend corrective and preventive measures to prevent recurrence of incident.
- Ensure safety equipment is properly maintained (e.g. Firefighting equipment, gas meter etc.), maintenance of medical facilitates (e.g. first aid kits / box, etc.).
- Upkeep of workplace safety and health documentation and records are in order at site.
- Perform other duties or tasks as assigned by Account Manager and SSE Manager.
