Feasible study on electricity generation by using turbine to recover energy from pressure reducing valves because there is energy loss due to pressure difference across the pressure reducing valve. That pressure loss is recoverable and can be used to generate electricity through a generator. The second work is to design a heat exchanger for heat recovery from unconverted oil rundown in Hydrocracking Unit to reduce the fuel consumption which is used to increase the temperature on the cold side and reduce energy consumption which is used to reduce the temperature on the hot side.
