Checks the daily arrival list to be prepared for the upcoming shift.
Welcomes customers to the hotel.
Be available to register, process, and greet customers promptly.
Responds to customer requests for information about the hotel and its surroundings and handles reservations for guests with special requests related to Concierge operations. Arranges fulfillment of customer services by working with Bell staff, Housekeeping, Reservations and Room Service.
Allocates rooms and issues appropriate keys, follows-up and verifies arrivals by updating registration cards in regards to spelling of guests name, address and method of payment is aware, at all times, of current room status and room availability, all PPH service concepts and knows how to handle, all current and future hotel promotions.
Completes shift closing accurately by getting appropriate approval signatures and authorization codes.
Communicates effectively with guests, colleagues, and supervisors.
Demonstrates a working knowledge of all services and facilities of the hotel, and effectively assists the hotels guests.
Maintain current and create new lines of communication between all employees to assure a smooth running operation.
Support training to new team members to the require Hotel Standards and provide support and leadership for junior staff.
